I was born, raised, and continue to live in Santa Fe, NM. My first experience with art was in childhood painting rocks, ceramics, and drawing images for stories or fun. In high school and college I explored drawing, painting, and writing, and was drawn into how expressive these things could be. After college I started a family and had a career. I began painting, drawing, and writing again after a medical episode and found that creating was a way to get emotions and energy out.

I like painting on acrylic and canvas paper. I also like painting on canvas using acrylic or oil paint. I am exploring drawing and using pastels. I love listening to music when I paint. My art varies, but at times some patterns or themes arise. There are instances of exploration of color using a palette knife; use of images of persons, angels, saints, flowers and animals; and application of color and mood to show landscapes and abstract images.
